It is our view that the process involved in finding the right job involves at least four key steps.
- Identifying your key strengths and interests (if you are located in or around Mississauga or Hamilton, feel free to give us a call. Otherwise, call your local college – you’ll be surprised at the assistance you’ll receive).
- Determine which career to pursue based on your strengths and interests (again, college counselors can help you with this).
- Ensure you have the necessary skills/education. To begin your search for a program offered by us or any other college, go to the “Programs” tab on our website and select the area of study you wish to learn more about.

Smart people learn from their mistakes. But the real sharp ones learn from the mistakes of others.
Brandon Mull, Fablehaven
How right and applicable is the above mentioned quote? There are some mistakes which only you should make yourselves because you will own the learning too. But some mistakes, you should learn from others and not make them as they are not worth losing what you could have got, if you never made them.
Resume is one such thing in which you MUST learn from the mistakes made by others because you might never get a chance to bring back what you lost. This means that you don’t have to leave your job. The class work and assignments can be completed at your own

Mastering your time management will be a necessity during your schooling (and with any schooling after that!). Students that manage to develop skill sets to better control their time will find greater success and less stress. However, just like any other skill, time management is learned.
So here are a few Time Management tips for your education. If you are not using them now, put them into practice and see how much more efficient you become!
Prioritize your tasks

Last October I took the plunge. I decided to quit my job. Hell, I decided to quit my career. I really did. I had been reading all about how folks were doing this, quitting their jobs I mean. Well, not a lot of folks, but some folks. And after quitting, they were writing about it – or people were writing about them – and how wonderful it had been since leaving their boring, monotonous, life-sucking, stress-induced, thankless, purposeless, jobs. Some moved their entire families to another country, where they house-sat for free, ran their business from abroad, and now lived like kings. Some went on a spiritual journey and decided to dedicate their life to a Buddhist monastery. While others became champions of helping others and spent their time on humanitarian missions.
The thing I noticed that they all had in common was that they were all happy! Go figure. Meanwhile, my regular friends – those with money, those with high paying jobs, those with lots of toys, those that were married, those with large houses, those with nice cars, those
